Questions
How does a round robin work?
Every player plays every other player once. A win gives 2 points. A draw gives 1 point. A loss gives 0 points. The player with the most points is first in the table.
How does the table rank players with the same points?
The table uses the score difference first. The score difference is the points a player scored minus the points against. Then it uses the points a player scored. Players that are still equal share a rank.
What if the number of players is odd?
In each round, one player has no match and waits. Each player waits one time.
Can a match end in a tie?
Yes. In a round robin, equal scores are a draw.
How many players can I add?
From 2 to 64.
Do I need an account?
No. You do not need an account to make a tournament. The people who watch do not need one either. They open the view link and look.
How long does my tournament stay?
The server deletes your tournament 90 days after the last change. Each score you save is a change. You can delete it sooner with your organizer link. Read more about privacy.
What are the view link and the organizer link?
When you make a tournament, you get two links. Share the view link with your players. They can look at the bracket, but they cannot change it. Keep the organizer link for yourself. With it you can enter scores, fix names and delete the tournament.
Does the bracket update live?
Yes. The page asks for new results every 5 seconds while it is open. Your players see a new score soon after you save it. They do not need to load the page again.
