How a double elimination bracket works
- Everyone starts in the winners bracket.
- A player who loses there goes to the losers bracket.
- A player who loses in the losers bracket is out.
- The winner of each bracket meets in the grand final. If the player from the losers bracket wins, they play a second match, the grand final reset.
Use it for a game tournament, a league final or any contest where one bad match must not end a run.

Questions
How does double elimination work?
A player is out after two losses. The first loss sends the player to the losers bracket. The winner of the winners bracket plays the winner of the losers bracket in the grand final.
What is the grand final reset?
The winner of the winners bracket has no loss in the grand final. If the winner of the losers bracket wins it, both players have one loss. Then they play a second match, the grand final reset. The winner of that match is the champion.
What happens if I change a score?
If the winner of a match changes, the results that depend on that match are removed. You can then enter them again.
How many players can I add?
From 2 to 256.
Do I need an account?
No. You do not need an account to make a tournament. The people who watch do not need one either. They open the view link and look.
How long does my tournament stay?
The server deletes your tournament 90 days after the last change. Each score you save is a change. You can delete it sooner with your organizer link. Read more about privacy.
What are the view link and the organizer link?
When you make a tournament, you get two links. Share the view link with your players. They can look at the bracket, but they cannot change it. Keep the organizer link for yourself. With it you can enter scores, fix names and delete the tournament.
Does the bracket update live?
Yes. The page asks for new results every 5 seconds while it is open. Your players see a new score soon after you save it. They do not need to load the page again.
What are the limits?
Participants in a single or double elimination: 256. Participants in a round robin: 64. Tournaments per minute: 10. Tournaments per day: 100. Days a tournament stays after the last change: 90. Limits are monitored. They may go up automatically, or on request. To ask for more, write to kamadorueda@gmail.com.
